Drone Photography Across the North East

Some things only make sense from above: a finished build, a whole site, a stretch of coast, an event in full swing. Karn flies and shoots every job himself, across Washington, Sunderland, Newcastle, Gateshead, Durham and the whole region.

Show the whole picture

A photo from the ground shows a door. A photo from the air shows the whole extension, the garden, the street and the view. For builders, property, venues and events, the drone tells the story in one frame.

For Gray’s Signature Builds we captured every stage of a build on camera and drone, from breaking ground to the finished extension from above.

Planned properly

Every flight is planned around the location, the weather and the rules for that airspace, so the shoot goes smoothly on the day. We keep to the UK’s 120 m height limit, which is where the climb above tops out.

Photos, video and social in one visit

Because we also shoot on the ground and run social media, one visit can cover aerial photos, drone video, ground shots and short-form reels, all edited and ready to use.

Questions

Drone Photography: your questions answered

What can you use drone photography for?

Builds and renovations, property, premises, venues, events, weddings and anything that looks better from above. The photos and video work on websites, Google Business Profiles, social media and print.

Who flies the drone?

Karn flies and shoots every job himself, so the person planning the shot is the one flying it.

What drone do you use?

A DJI Mini 4 Pro for aerial photos and video, alongside a Nikon D750 for shots on the ground.

Can you film video as well as photos?

Yes. We can shoot aerial photos and drone video on the same flight, plus ground footage and reels for social media in the same visit.

How high can you fly?

The UK height limit for drones is 120 metres, and we plan every shot within it. That is plenty for most builds, sites and coastlines.

Do you cover my area?

We’re based in Washington and fly across Sunderland, Newcastle, Gateshead, Durham and the wider North East. Call 07440 121487 to talk through your location.
